Personal Items

  • It is a Bayonet on a German Rifle on the right of the image. I bought it in a market when I do volunteer program in Lima, Peru. After World War II, many Nazis ran away to South America since most countries remained neutral during and after the war. The Bayonet was brought to Peru by German soldiers at that time. Proof of History.
  • After the outbreak of Covid-19 in March last year, hand sanitizer became essentials for me. Hand sanitizer were even sold out for a long time last year in all markets around Bethlehem. It is the first hand sanitizer which contains Ethyl alcohol more than 70 percent, and this percentage is just enough to kill the virus.
  • The soy candle in the middle also became essential after most outdoor activities are limited and most of time during a day is spent at home. I bought many household products including this one.
  • The Swiss Army knife is a gift from my father. He was about to give me right before I went to college, but he changed his mind because he worried I would hurt myself with it. After a year when I finished my Freshman year and went back home, probably he thought I’m no longer a kid then gave it to me.
  • The red controller reminds me the time I played video games with my friends at my Freshman year and Sophomore year. We all lived in the dorm on campus so we shared a lot of moments at spare time. After living off-campus, the distance between our home was far, so was our friendship.
  • The black wallet at the bottom is my first wallet. It is a gift for successfully applying to the college from my cousin. I don’t have any brothers or sisters so my cousin become the only relative at my age.

  1. The Bayonet is such a cool find. I can’t believe it was so cheap too when it holds so much history. I’m also an only child with cousins a similar age! I like that you’re smaller object don’t feel over powered by the bayonet because of how they are arranged. I said this in class but it could be fun to flip the wallet and make it legs!
