I think the exclusion of facial details is my favorite part of this piece. I think it resembles how these two figures can represent everyone in the world during the pandemic and they are very versatile. We all were removed from our everyday lives and left to mundane at-home activities. But, I think this sculpture also beautifully captures how families grew closer together over time.
