I wanted to do a face and my housemate generously volunteered. The snow was kind of hard when we did it but you can still see where her nose and chin were imprinted. She’s making the same face in the photo as the snow.

This was a unique idea and it turned out great. It’s interesting that it does not completely look like a face. How long did your roommate agree to keep her face in the snow? Do you think if she had stayed in the snow long the outcome would have been a more pronounced face in the snow?
It was Tess! So you know she’s a good sport, it was fairly quick though because I felt bad and we tried it in a few places. I honestly don’t know if the features would have melted into blobs or been more pronounced. That’s a good point.
It is impressive how you pulled this off because I was going to do this too to myself and could not get it right. The detail of the nose especially is amazing and has great dark and light points. I agree with Maggie that it is interesting that it does not completely look like a face and only the nose is really pronounced.
