I enjoy the natural square space you created with absence of clay by using the two small ball shapes in top of the larger supporting round shape. It is nice to see in your documentation where you created all the separate shapes first.
I think this sculpture is really romantic, although it’s created from simple shapes. It looks like two persons kissing each other, or doing tango dip.
I would recomended to add more soft lines to it to enhance the sense of romance. It would be much more interesting if you could add more depth to the side view (as in the last picture), so it could create an asymmetrical balance rather than symmetry.
This piece makes me think of various things (Feet, a squirrel’s tail, and the Statue of Liberty in the vertical orientation). I love the stacking component you included in the piece with the three spheres. However, I feel that certain orientations make some parts feel heavier than others. If you were to work on this piece again, I would encourage you to manipulate the clay some more to redistribute the weight each piece plays in the overall structure.
