I really like that the arms look long and deflated because I think that embodies the stress and dissociation we have with our work now that it is all on our computers. You paid great attention to detail beyond just the tape piece with using zoom screenshots. It could be cool to also position one arm reaching for the water or a textbook but not being able to grasp it.
I really like the motivation behind the creation of this piece. I think throughout the pandemic, everyone began spending a significant amount of time behind the computer screen. It will be interesting to see the effect this will have post-pandemic. I like the arms you made, the details in the fingers were done perfectly. However, if you were to improve this project, I think the details in the wrist and elbow joints could be more defined. Overall, great work!
This is exactly what I see in my periphery all day every day in zoom. To me it feels like the blood runs out of my arms so this installation is how my arms feel after sitting in front of the computer for 9 hours. The proportion is on point too. Awesome job making a piece that everyone can relate to in these weird times!
